Thank you for your interest in joining the Board of 54North Homes.

At 54North, we’re committed to providing good quality homes, delivering excellent customer service and shaping strong communities, with our customers at the heart of everything we do. As we look ahead, we’re focused on building on our progress, continuing to improve our services, and making sure we’re well placed to respond to the challenges and opportunities facing our sector.

We’re proud to be part of the wider Karbon Group, which gives us the strength, scale and support to deliver more for our customers and communities.

We’re now seeking two new Board Members to join us in 2026.

For these roles, we are particularly keen to hear from individuals who bring strategic expertise in either:

  • Customer services, with a strong track record of leading customer-focused teams at a senior level within social housing. We’re especially interested in those who have driven service transformation, improved customer experience and delivered sustainable efficiencies.
  • Risk and audit, with significant experience in overseeing robust risk management frameworks and assurance processes. While a financial qualification is advantageous, we welcome candidates whose expertise has been developed across a range of sectors.

One of these roles will also take on the position of Vice Chair. Candidates interested in this opportunity will bring prior non-executive experience and the ability to both support and challenge constructively at Board level.
